phonebase.com.au is operated by JHL International Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000), trading as PhoneBase. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Each phone we sell is a single, individually-inspected unit — not an interchangeable model. Its listing shows its grade, battery health and a condition report. Photos are of the actual unit or representative of its grade.

Because our devices are pre-owned, minor cosmetic wear consistent with the stated grade is normal and not a defect.

When you place an order the unit is reserved for you and only marked sold once payment is confirmed. If payment is not completed, the reservation expires and the unit is released.

We may cancel and fully refund an order if a unit is unavailable, mispriced due to an obvious error, or we suspect fraud.

Repair bookings require a deposit at the time of booking; the balance is charged on completion once the final price is confirmed. Repair availability depends on your postcode and open time slots.

Repairs are covered by the warranty stated at the time of service. Damage caused by later mishandling, liquid or third-party repairs is not covered.

Trade-in quotes are based on the condition you describe and are subject to our inspection when the device arrives. If the device does not match the described condition, we may revise the offer, which you can accept or decline; if you decline, we return the device to you.

You confirm you own the device, that it is not lost, stolen or subject to any finance or activation lock, and that you have removed all accounts and data before sending it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account. Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or infringe our or others' intellectual property.

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to re-supplying, repairing or replacing it, or paying the cost of doing so.

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
